The Viking RC-2A is a remote controller that provides relay operation using any standard touch-tone telephone. This controller is versatile as it can be installed locally or remotely. In local setups, the RC-2A connects in parallel with various analog communication paths, including analog C.O. lines, PABX/KSU stations, or Viking's W-Series doorboxes, allowing it to monitor for touch-tone commands. For remote applications, the RC-2A can respond to incoming calls on analog lines after a configurable ring delay. It includes a programmable access code to enhance security and can activate remote relay operations.
