The VIGITRON INC. VI22301 is a Power over Ethernet (PoE) splitter rated at 30 watts with selectable output voltage of 12 volts or 24 volts. It receives power and data over a single Ethernet cable and splits the power out to a separate connector, allowing non-PoE devices to receive power from a PoE-capable network switch or injector. Electricians and low-voltage technicians install this splitter when a connected device — such as a camera, access control reader, or intercom — cannot accept inline PoE power directly from the network port.
