The VIEGA LPDE66 is a 3/4-inch PEX drop ear elbow designed for plumbing rough-in applications where a supply line must terminate at a wall-mounted fixture connection. The drop ear configuration includes a mounting flange that fastens to blocking or framing, holding the fitting securely in place before drywall installation. The connection transitions from PEX tubing on one side to a female iron pipe (FIP) threaded outlet, allowing a threaded shower arm, faucet supply, or similar fixture component to thread directly into the fitting.
