The VIEGA 95175 is a reducing press tee fitting engineered for use in MegaPress press-fit piping systems. Constructed from 304 stainless steel, this tee provides a corrosion-resistant, press-connected joint without the need for open flame or threading. The fitting uses an FKM sealing element, making it suitable for a range of fluid service applications. The run measures 2 inches with a branch outlet of 1-1/2 inches, following a press-by-press-by-press (PxPxP) end configuration. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this fitting using a compatible press tool and jaw set.
This fitting is used in commercial and industrial piping installations where stainless steel construction and tool-press joining are required. Typical applications include mechanical rooms, process piping, and building services where corrosion resistance and installation speed are priorities. The reducing configuration allows a main 2-inch line to transition down to a 1-1/2-inch branch, making it a practical choice for supply and distribution headers in hydronic or fluid-handling systems.
Designed for use with the VIEGA MegaPress press-fit system and compatible press tools and jaw sets rated for 2-inch and 1-1/2-inch stainless steel press fittings.
Installation must be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter using a press tool and jaw set compatible with the MegaPress system for 304 stainless steel fittings. Verify the system is depressurized and drained before cutting into an existing line. Pipe ends must be cut square, deburred, and cleaned before insertion to the full depth mark. Follow the fitting manufacturer installation instructions and applicable IPC or local plumbing code requirements for press-fit joints.
