The VIEGA 51073 is a 7-port dual temperature MiniBloc zoning manifold designed for PEX crimp hydronic and plumbing distribution systems. Built from zero-lead PolyAlloy plastic, this manifold splits a single supply line into seven individual loops — three hot and four cold — making it a practical solution for multi-zone domestic water or radiant distribution layouts. The crimp connection system accepts 1/2-inch PEX tubing on both the inlet and all outlet ports. Licensed plumbers and hydronic system installers use this manifold to consolidate zone connections in a single, compact assembly rather than building out individual tee fittings at each branch point.
The 51073 is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing applications where a mixed hot and cold distribution point is required. Its dual temperature configuration — three hot ports and four cold ports — supports typical domestic water distribution setups such as bathroom or utility room manifold closets. All seven loop ports accept 1/2-inch PEX tubing, matching the inlet port size for consistent flow path sizing throughout the system. This manifold is intended for use with PEX crimp fittings and requires a standard PEX crimp tool for installation.
Compatible with 1/2-inch PEX tubing using the crimp fitting connection system. Designed for use in potable water plumbing applications requiring zero-lead compliant components.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and IPC guidelines. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the system before making any connections. A calibrated PEX crimp tool and the appropriate diameter crimp rings are required to properly seat all connections. Inspect each crimp ring with a go/no-go gauge after installation to confirm a leak-free joint before restoring system pressure.
