The VIEGA 50133 is a PureFlow crimp port adapter made from PolyAlloy, designed to connect 1/2-inch PEX crimp lines to 1/2-inch ManaBloc manifold ports. This adapter serves as a transition fitting between PEX supply lines and the port outlets on a ManaBloc distribution manifold, a common configuration in residential plumbing systems. The crimp-style connection requires a standard PEX crimp ring and crimping tool. At 0.04 pounds and just under 1.5 inches in overall footprint, this compact fitting is well suited to the tight working conditions typical around manifold installations. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this fitting during new construction and retrofit plumbing projects.
This adapter is used in residential and light commercial plumbing systems where a ManaBloc manifold serves as the central distribution point for hot and cold PEX supply lines. It is installed at the manifold port, allowing individual branch lines to connect directly to the manifold with a secure, leak-resistant crimp connection. The 1/2-inch x 1/2-inch sizing fits standard half-inch PEX tubing, which is the most common branch line size in residential applications.
Designed for use with VIEGA PureFlow ManaBloc manifold systems accepting 1/2-inch crimp port adapters. Intended for use with 1/2-inch PEX tubing and standard PEX crimp rings.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and applicable IPC requirements. Shut off the water supply and relieve system pressure before servicing or replacing any manifold port fitting. A calibrated PEX crimp tool and appropriately sized crimp rings are required to make a proper connection — do not substitute with clamp or expansion-style tools unless confirmed compatible with crimp-style fittings. Inspect the crimp ring for proper seating and verify no deformation before restoring system pressure.
