The VIEGA 32125 is a 1/2-inch red PEX-B tubing supplied in a 500-foot coil, designed for residential and commercial plumbing distribution systems. Manufactured to ASTM F876 and F877 standards and listed to ANSI/NSF Standards 14 and 61, this non-oxygen-barrier tubing is rated at 160 psi at 73 degrees F and 100 psi at 180 degrees F. It carries chlorine resistance ratings for both traditional (CL-TD) and continuous recirculation (CL-R) systems, making it suitable for potable water supply lines and recirculating hot water loops. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this tubing in new construction and retrofit plumbing projects.
This tubing is used in residential and light commercial plumbing applications where flexible, corrosion-resistant water distribution is required. The red color coding helps identify hot-water supply lines in a piping system. It is compatible with a wide range of fitting systems, including clamp, crimp, PEX press, PEX compression, and push-fit connections, giving installers flexibility in tool and fitting selection. The 500-foot coil length reduces the number of mid-run joints needed in long distribution runs, which is a common advantage in new construction rough-in work.
Compatible with clamp, crimp, PEX press, PEX compression, and push-fit fitting systems. Designed as an OEM-style flexible tubing solution for potable water plumbing distribution in residential and commercial systems meeting ASTM F876/F877 requirements.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and IPC requirements. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the line before cutting or joining tubing. Use only fittings and tools rated for PEX-B tubing to ensure a leak-free connection. This tubing is not an oxygen-barrier product and should not be used in closed-loop hydronic heating systems where oxygen diffusion into the fluid would damage ferrous components.
