Product Description

The VIEGA 15207 is an extruded heavy gauge aluminum climate track designed for radiant heating and cooling systems installed beneath subfloor surfaces. It grips PEX tubing firmly without air gaps, eliminating the need for sealants or adhesives and ensuring maximum heat conduction between the tubing and the floor assembly. The track mounts tightly to the underside of the subfloor to optimize system thermal performance. Each track measures 8 feet in length, 3.5 inches in width, and 0.375 inches in depth, accommodating 3/8 inch barrier PEX tubing. Licensed HVAC and radiant heating contractors are the primary installers of this product.

The 15207 is used in residential and light commercial radiant floor heating and cooling applications where PEX tubing is run below the subfloor deck. It is compatible with VIEGA barrier tubing part numbers 11436, 11435, 11440, 11428, 11425, 11430, 11427, 11418, 11420, and 11415. Installation Notes

Installation is performed by licensed radiant heating contractors or qualified HVAC technicians. The system must be depressurized and the tubing must not be under operating pressure during track installation. Tracks are fastened mechanically to the underside of the subfloor — follow the subfloor manufacturer guidelines and applicable local building codes for fastener spacing and structural clearance. Do not kink or over-bend PEX tubing when seating it into the track channel.
