The VICTOR 14401123 is a wire conduit liner designed for MIG welding guns, providing a smooth, low-friction guide path for welding wire from the drive roll to the contact tip. At 15 feet in overall length, it accommodates standard MIG gun cable runs in both shop and field welding environments. The liner accepts a maximum wire outside diameter of 5/64 inch, making it suited for common small-diameter solid and flux-core wire applications. Licensed welders and fabrication shops rely on properly fitted liners to prevent wire feeding problems, bird-nesting, and erratic arc behavior during continuous MIG welding operations.
This liner is intended for use with compatible MIG welding guns in light-to-heavy-duty welding applications. It is a direct replacement or service part for technicians maintaining MIG gun assemblies in production, maintenance, and repair welding settings. The liner fits within gun cable assemblies where consistent wire feed speed and smooth wire travel are critical to weld quality and productivity.
Designed for use with EL250, EL350, EL450, No. 3, No. 4, No. 5 X-Gun, and 250/400A MIG welding guns as specified by the manufacturer.
Installation is typically performed by a qualified welder or welding equipment technician. Before replacing the liner, disconnect the welding gun from the wire feeder and remove the contact tip and gas nozzle to allow full liner access. Feed the new liner through the gun cable from the feeder end and ensure it seats fully before reinstalling the contact tip. Follow the gun manufacturer's instructions and applicable workplace safety procedures when servicing welding equipment.
