The VICTOR 14401003 is a wire conduit liner designed for MIG welding guns, guiding the electrode wire from the drive rolls through the gun cable to the contact tip. Built for continuous-duty welding environments, this liner accommodates wire diameters from 0.035 to 0.046 inches (0.80 to 1.20 mm) and spans 15 feet to fit standard-length MIG gun assemblies. It is rated for welding applications up to 450 amps, making it appropriate for heavy-duty production and fabrication work. Welders and maintenance technicians install this liner as a wear-replacement part when wire feed becomes erratic or drag increases during operation.
This liner is compatible with VICTOR EL250, EL350, and EL450 welding guns, as well as No. 3, No. 4, and No. 5 X-Gun models rated at 250 to 400 amps. It is suited for industrial fabrication shops, maintenance and repair operations, and structural welding environments where reliable wire feed is critical to consistent bead quality. The 15-foot length matches the cable length common to heavy MIG gun setups used in both semi-automatic and automated welding stations.
Designed for use with VICTOR EL250, EL350, EL450, and No. 3, No. 4, and No. 5 X-Gun welding guns rated at 250 to 400 amps.
Installation should be performed by a qualified welder or welding equipment technician. Disconnect the welding machine from its power source before removing the gun cable assembly or replacing the liner. Feed the new liner through the cable from the machine end and trim to fit before securing the contact tip and back end fittings. Follow the gun manufacturer's service instructions for proper liner seating to avoid wire feed issues caused by improper liner length or loose retention.
