The VICTOR 11601619 is a standard MIG welder contact tip designed for use in GMAW (MIG) welding applications. It accepts wire up to 3/32 inch (2.40 mm) outside diameter and is rated for a maximum of 200 amps continuous duty. The tip is manufactured from copper alloy tubing, which provides good electrical conductivity and thermal dissipation during the weld cycle. It is part of the Series 16 contact tip family and is engineered to mate with a compatible gas diffuser. Welding technicians and fabricators install this tip as a routine consumable replacement during MIG gun maintenance.
This contact tip is specified for use with 250 Amp and 450 Amp Eliminator MIG guns. It is suited for both shop and field welding environments where solid wire or flux-core wire in the 3/32 inch diameter range is used. Typical applications include structural fabrication, general manufacturing, and maintenance welding on ferrous and non-ferrous base metals. The Series 16 designation identifies the correct mating diffuser and nozzle assembly required for proper installation.
Designed for use with VICTOR 250 Amp and 450 Amp Eliminator MIG guns using Series 16 components and a mating gas diffuser.
Contact tips are installed and removed by welding technicians as part of routine MIG gun consumable maintenance. Always power down the welder and allow the gun neck to cool before removing a worn tip. Use the correct tip wrench or pliers to avoid cross-threading the tip into the gas diffuser. Inspect the diffuser for spatter buildup and replace if damaged before installing a new tip.
