The VICTOR 1000-0182 is a medium-duty flowmeter regulator designed to measure and regulate shielding gas flow for MIG and TIG welding applications. Sold as the FM 372, it accepts a 1/4 inch RH male inlet fitting and delivers gas through a 5/8 inch-18 RH female outlet fitting at a rated inlet pressure of 25 psig. The flow tube and outer tube are constructed from impact-resistant Lexan, making the unit durable enough for demanding shop environments. A licensed welding professional or qualified gas equipment technician is the typical installer. The cover tube incorporates built-in overpressure protection, and the regulator is pressure compensated to handle low-surge requirements.
This flowmeter regulator is suited for industrial and general fabrication, light fabrication, structural steel fabrication, and repair and maintenance work. It supports three common shielding gases: carbon dioxide at 5-40 SCFH, argon at 5-50 SCFH, and helium at 20-150 SCFH. The unit is sized for bench or cart-mount cylinder setups where a compact, reliable flow measurement device is needed alongside a welding power supply.
Designed as an OEM-style medium-duty flowmeter regulator for use with carbon dioxide, argon, and helium shielding gas cylinders in MIG and TIG welding setups.
Installation should be performed by a qualified welding equipment technician or licensed gas professional. Always close the cylinder valve and bleed the regulator before disconnecting or connecting fittings. Inspect all inlet and outlet connections for proper thread engagement and use appropriate thread sealant only where specified by the manufacturer. Do not exceed the rated inlet pressure of 25 psig.
