The VICTOR 0781-5229 is a two-stage, high-capacity acetylene regulator from the ETS4 EDGEa Series, designed for applications requiring precise and constant outlet pressure. It delivers a 2 to 15 psig outlet range and accepts a maximum inlet pressure of 3000 psig. The forged brass body, zinc-aluminum housing caps, and 0.488 Cv flow coefficient combine to provide uniform flow performance across varying cylinder pressures. A 346 CGA inlet connection and 5/8-18 LH(F) outlet connection make it ready for standard acetylene cylinder setups. Licensed HVAC and industrial gas technicians, welders, and fabricators install this regulator in professional gas distribution and cutting or welding systems.
The VICTOR 0781-5229 is suited for industrial and general fabrication, light fabrication, structural steel fabrication, and repair and maintenance operations. The side-mounted color-coded SLAMa impact-absorbing safety knob allows natural hand positioning during delivery pressure adjustment. Built-in UL-listed gauges are recessed into the body for protection, with a 4000 psig inlet gauge range and a 400 psig outlet gauge range. The compact, single impact-point layout is configured to protect elements critical to system integrity.
Designed for use with acetylene gas cylinders equipped with a 346 CGA inlet connection; suitable for industrial welding, cutting, and general fabrication systems requiring a high-capacity two-stage regulator.
Installation should be performed by a qualified welding or industrial gas technician familiar with compressed gas safety practices. Shut off the cylinder valve and bleed all pressure from the system before connecting or disconnecting the regulator. Inspect the inlet connection and filter for contamination before attaching to the cylinder, and never use oil or grease on acetylene regulator fittings. Verify all connections for leaks with an approved leak-detection solution before returning the system to service.
