The VICTOR 0781-1430 is a single-stage, heavy-duty high-pressure inert gas piston regulator designed for demanding industrial gas applications. It delivers outlet pressure in the 100 to 1500 psig range and accepts inlet pressures up to 5500 psig, making it well suited for pressure vessel testing and dead-end system testing. The body is machined brass with a brass housing cap. Actuation is piston-type brass with a Delrin cap bushing for smooth, consistent delivery pressure adjustments. The seat assembly is cartridge-type with a PCTFE seat for reliable shutoff and long service life.
This regulator is used in industrial and laboratory settings where high-pressure inert gas delivery must be precisely controlled. Primary applications include pressure vessel testing and dead-end pressure testing of piping and component assemblies. The CGA 680 inlet connection with a bronze sintered filter accommodates standard high-pressure inert gas cylinders. The 1/4 inch Swagelok outlet connection with a 1/4 inch stainless tube fitting integrates directly into test manifolds and instrumentation systems. An external adjustable relief valve is included on F and G range models for added system protection.
Designed for use with high-pressure inert gas cylinders equipped with CGA 680 connections. Suitable for pressure vessel testing, dead-end testing, and other high-pressure inert gas delivery applications requiring a single-stage heavy-duty regulator.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with high-pressure gas systems and applicable codes. Ensure the gas supply cylinder is fully closed and system pressure is fully relieved before connecting or disconnecting the regulator. Inspect the sintered inlet filter and all fittings for debris or damage prior to pressurizing. Do not exceed the maximum rated inlet pressure of 5500 psig.
