The VICTOR 0381-1721 is a heavy-duty oxy-fuel cutting torch in the Bulldoga series, designed for high-capacity straight-line cutting in demanding industrial environments. It features a low-profile head and a lightweight construction that reduces operator fatigue without sacrificing structural durability. The torch measures 36 inches in overall length and weighs 5.05 pounds, making it a practical choice for extended use on thick structural sections. Reverse flow check valves are installed at the inlet connection. The unit is manufactured without built-in flashback arrestors. Tip seating follows Harris style geometry. Licensed trade welders and industrial cutting technicians are the primary installers and operators of this equipment.
The 0381-1721 is suited for industrial and general fabrication as well as structural steel fabrication. Its high-capacity design handles heavy cutting loads typical of ironwork, shipbuilding, demolition prep, and heavy manufacturing operations. The 36-inch overall length provides working clearance when cutting plate or structural members in overhead or confined positions. It conforms to ISO standards EN ISO 5172, making it appropriate for job sites and facilities that require documented compliance with international gas welding equipment standards.
Designed for use with Harris style cutting tips. Intended for oxy-fuel cutting setups in industrial and structural fabrication environments. Confirm tip and hose fitting compatibility before installation.
Installation and operation should be performed by a qualified welder or cutting technician familiar with oxy-fuel equipment and applicable safety codes. Shut off all gas supply valves at the cylinder before connecting or disconnecting the torch. Inspect all fittings, hoses, and seating surfaces for damage or contamination before use. This torch does not include built-in flashback arrestors — use of separate flashback arrestor devices upstream is recommended per site safety requirements.
