The VICTOR 0381-1491 VanGuard ST 2611FC is a heavy-duty straight cutting torch designed for high-demand oxy-fuel cutting applications. The torch measures 27 inches in length with a 75-degree head angle and delivers a cutting capacity of 1/8 to 8 inches of steel. It is compatible with all fuel gases, making it a versatile tool for shops and field work alike. Built-in patented flashback arrestors and reverse flow check valves are integrated directly into the body, eliminating the need for add-on inline safety devices. Tubes and the cutting oxygen lever are constructed from stainless steel, while the head is die-forged brass and the handle is ribbed brass for grip and durability. A licensed HVAC or welding technician or certified pipefitter typically handles installation and operation.
The VICTOR 0381-1491 is well-suited for heavy industrial and trade environments that require reliable oxyfuel cutting performance. Common applications include scrap cutting and foundry work where extended cutting capacity and continuous-duty operation are required. The top rear lever position and Series 1 tip design support controlled, repeatable cuts across a wide range of material thicknesses. The universal mixer accommodates various fuel gas types including acetylene, propane, and natural gas, reducing the need for torch changes when switching fuel sources on the job.
Designed for use with Series 1 cutting tips and compatible with all fuel gases including acetylene, propane, and natural gas in standard oxy-fuel cutting setups.
This torch should be installed and operated by a qualified welder, pipefitter, or trained cutting technician familiar with oxy-fuel equipment. Always shut off both oxygen and fuel gas supply valves at the cylinder before connecting or disconnecting torch components. Inspect all hose connections, fittings, and the torch body for leaks using an approved leak-detection solution before lighting. Follow applicable OSHA, NFPA 51, and equipment manufacturer guidelines for safe oxy-fuel cutting operations.
