The VICTOR 0381-1407 is the HC1232C, a high-capacity, heavy-duty cutting torch built for demanding industrial cutting work. With an overall length of 36 inches and a cutting capacity of up to 18 inches, this torch is designed to handle thick structural steel and heavy plate. It accepts Series 1 cutting tips and works with any fuel gas operating at 2 psig and above. Reverse flow check valves are installed at the inlet connections in place of built-in flashback arrestors. A licensed welding or cutting professional installs and operates this equipment following applicable safety standards.
The HC1232C is intended for heavy industrial environments where standard torches fall short. Typical applications include ferrous metal scrapping, demolition cutting, structural steel fabrication, and general industrial fabrication. The universal mixer design accommodates multiple fuel gas types, making this torch adaptable across job sites that use acetylene, propane, natural gas, or other fuel gases above 2 psig. The 36-inch overall length keeps the operator at a safe working distance from the cut zone on heavy plate and structural members.
Designed for use with Series 1 cutting tips and compatible with any fuel gas supply at 2 psig and above. OBO 9/16 inches-18 hose connections are required at the inlet. Suitable for industrial and general fabrication as well as structural steel fabrication applications.
Installation and operation should be performed by a qualified welding professional familiar with oxyfuel cutting equipment and applicable safety codes. Shut off all gas supply valves and verify zero pressure at the torch before making any hose or tip connections. Inspect hose fittings, reverse flow check valves, and tip seating surfaces for damage or debris before each use. Because this torch does not include built-in flashback arrestors, ensure that appropriate external safety equipment is in place per site safety requirements.
