The VICTOR 0381-1402 is a heavy-duty, high-capacity straight cutting torch in the HC 1200C series. Designed for demanding industrial cutting applications, it features a 21-inch overall length and a 90-degree head angle that gives the operator clear sightlines and comfortable torch control during straight cuts. The universal mixer design accepts any fuel gas operating at 2 psig and above, making it adaptable across a wide range of shop and field setups. With a cutting capacity of up to 18 inches, this torch handles thick structural steel and heavy fabrication work. It is the tool of choice for professional welders, pipefitters, and ironworkers working in heavy industry environments.
This cutting torch is suited for heavy industrial and commercial applications where sustained, high-capacity cutting is required. Typical installations include steel fabrication shops, shipyards, heavy equipment repair, and structural steel erection. The 21-inch length keeps the operator at a safe working distance from the workpiece and allows access in tighter fixture setups. Because the torch accepts any fuel gas, it integrates into existing acetylene, propane, natural gas, or other fuel gas systems without requiring specialized equipment changes.
Compatible with Series 1 cutting tips and any fuel gas supply operating at 2 psig and above, including acetylene and alternative fuel gases. Hose connections use a B-type 9/16-inch-18 fitting.
Installation and operation should be performed by a qualified welder or gas technician familiar with compressed gas safety practices. Always shut off both oxygen and fuel gas supply valves at the cylinder and purge the lines before connecting or disconnecting the torch. Verify that hose connections are leak-free using an approved leak-detection solution before igniting. Follow applicable OSHA, NFPA 51, and CGA guidelines for cutting torch setup and use.
