The VICTOR 0333-0328 is a Type HPN cutting tip designed for heavy preheat applications including scrap cutting, bevel cuts, and other demanding oxy-fuel cutting tasks. Built from brass, this size 6 tip is engineered for use with propane or natural gas fuel systems. It supports cutting oxygen pressures of 55 to 65 psig, fuel pressures of 8 to 12 psig, and preheat oxygen flow rates of 44 to 240 SCFH. Cutting speeds range from 4 to 6 inches per minute. The tip weighs 0.15 pounds and measures approximately 3.3 inches in length by 0.8 inches in width and 0.8 inches in height.
This cutting tip is suited for industrial and general fabrication, structural steel fabrication, repair and maintenance work, and light fabrication tasks. The Type HPN designation indicates heavy preheat capability, making it appropriate for thicker or harder-to-cut materials that require sustained preheat before and during the cut. It is sold individually and is compatible with propane and natural gas fuel supply systems.
Designed as a replacement or standard cutting tip for oxy-fuel cutting torches that accept size 6 propane and natural gas tips in the VICTOR HPN series.
Cutting tips of this type are installed by qualified welding and cutting professionals. Shut off all gas supply valves and release line pressure before removing or installing a cutting tip. Use the appropriate tip wrench to seat the tip properly — do not overtighten by hand alone, and do not use pipe wrenches or pliers that can damage the seating surfaces. Follow all applicable safe practices outlined in relevant gas equipment and fire prevention codes when working with oxy-fuel cutting systems.
