The VICTOR 0333-0325 is a Type HPN cutting tip engineered for heavy preheat applications using propane or natural gas fuel. Sized at 3, this brass tip delivers cutting speeds of 9 to 12 inches per minute with cutting oxygen pressures ranging from 45 to 50 psig and fuel pressures of 5 to 9 psig. Preheat oxygen consumption runs from 44 to 240 SCFH depending on the operating condition. Designed for demanding industrial cutting work, it installs into compatible Victor-style cutting torches and is used by welding and cutting professionals across fabrication and maintenance trades.
This tip is suited for heavy preheat tasks including scrap cutting, bevel cutting, and other high-heat-demand operations. It sees regular use in industrial and general fabrication shops, structural steel fabrication environments, repair and maintenance operations, and light fabrication settings. Its propane and natural gas compatibility makes it a practical choice where acetylene is not the preferred or available fuel source.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement cutting tip for use with Victor-compatible cutting torches that accept size 3 propane and natural gas tips.
Installation should be performed by a qualified welder or cutting technician. Shut off all gas supply valves and bleed the torch lines before removing or installing any tip. Hand-tighten the tip nut first, then snug with a proper tip wrench — do not overtighten, as this can damage the tip seat and cause gas leaks. Verify all connections for leaks with an approved leak-detection solution before igniting the torch, and operate within the specified pressure ranges for safe cutting performance.
