The VICTOR 0324-0072 is a W-1 Series Size 2 medium-duty welding nozzle designed for use with acetylene and hydrogen fuel gases. The nozzle measures 4.5 inches in length and features a 65-degree tip angle that produces a long cone flame suited for controlled heat delivery. It is built from a one-piece swaged copper elbow construction, which reduces leak points compared to multi-piece assemblies. A spiral mixer inside the body blends oxygen and fuel before combustion. Every unit is 100 percent flame tested at the factory. Licensed welders and certified oxy-fuel technicians are the primary installers of this nozzle in shop and field environments.
This nozzle fits VICTOR 100 series torch handles and is rated for general-purpose welding and preheating applications. The 65-degree tip angle makes it practical for flat and positional work on mild steel, copper, and similar weldable materials. Its medium-duty rating suits light fabrication, repair shops, plumbing rough-in, and HVAC brazing setups where acetylene or hydrogen fuel is the preferred gas choice. The double O-ring seal and brass coupling nut with built-in snap ring provide a secure, repeatable connection to the torch body.
Compatible with VICTOR 100 series torch handles. Suitable for acetylene and hydrogen fuel gases in general-purpose welding and preheating applications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified welder or oxy-fuel technician familiar with compressed gas equipment. Always shut off and bleed both the oxygen and fuel gas supply lines before attaching or removing a nozzle. Inspect O-rings for damage before connecting, and hand-tighten the coupling nut before applying a final snug fit with the appropriate wrench — do not overtighten. Verify all connections with an approved leak-detection solution before igniting the torch.
