The VICTAULIC f006542xh8 is a 3/4 inch Vic-Press Style P542 90-degree street elbow for Schedule 10S stainless steel piping systems. Manufactured from 304 stainless steel to ASTM A312 standards, it connects via a press end on one side and a plain end on the other, making it a compact directional fitting for tight spaces. Rated to 500 psi maximum working pressure and NSF Certified for potable water applications, this fitting is suited for mechanical, plumbing, and light industrial installations where a clean, no-flame connection method is required. The Grade H seal provides a secure, leak-resistant joint when made with a compatible press tool.
This fitting is intended for use in 3/4 inch Schedule 10S 304 stainless steel piping systems. Typical applications include domestic water distribution, hydronic systems, and mechanical room piping in commercial and institutional facilities. The press-by-plain-end configuration allows the fitting to transition directly into a run of plain-end pipe, reducing the need for additional couplings in a direction change. Its FM Approved rating makes it appropriate for fire protection and critical system applications where listed components are required.
Designed for use with 3/4 inch Schedule 10S 304 stainless steel pipe with an outside diameter of 1.05 inches. Requires a Victaulic Vic-Press compatible pressing tool and jaw set rated for the Style P542 fitting series.
Installation must be performed by a qualified plumber or pipefitter using a Victaulic-approved press tool and the correct jaw profile for the P542 series. Depressurize and drain the system completely before cutting into any existing line. Verify pipe end preparation meets Victaulic specifications for plain-end insertion depth and that the pipe surface is free of burrs, debris, or scale before pressing. Follow all applicable local plumbing codes and refer to Victaulic installation instructions for torque-free press joint procedures.
