Victaulic Copper Mechanical-T Outlets are designed to create a direct branch connection wherever a hole can be cut in the tubing. The outlet is held securely in place by a locating collar, which also prevents rotation of the mechanical tee. A gasket provides a secure seal on the outside diameter of the tube. Cross-type connections can be made using two upper housings of the same style and run size, accommodating the same or varied branch size connections. The Model 622 Mechanical-T outlet features a female threaded NPT outlet, complete with zinc electroplated hardware. This outlet allows a 90-degree connection between the run and branch when properly installed.
