The Victaulic Style 924 Vic-O-Well outlet offers a straightforward way to connect, combining thermowell features with a strapless mechanical outlet. The main body is crafted with integral lugs that fit into a hole in the pipe, ensuring a secure grip on the interior surface. A nut on the main body tightens to press the gasket and collar against the pipe's exterior, creating a solid joint. This outlet is machined to standard thread well dimensions, suited for industrial glass thermometers with a nominal bulb length of six inches. The slim design minimizes friction losses while providing an insertion length of three inches into the fluid. It accommodates two and a half inches for insulation and lagging, capable of withstanding a working pressure of three hundred psi on steel pipe.
