The VERMONT GAGE 361152020 is a single-ring Go threaded ring gage designed to verify the maximum material condition of externally threaded fasteners and components. Manufactured from tool steel, this gage checks that a 3/4-10 UNC male thread is within the acceptable upper tolerance limit for Class 3A fits. When a threaded workpiece passes the Go gage, the thread form, pitch, and diameter are confirmed to be within specification. This tool is a standard instrument in quality control, incoming inspection, and production floor verification wherever precision thread acceptance is required.
This gage is used to inspect 3/4-10 UNC external threads to Class 3A tolerance standards, the tightest classification for inch-series unified threads. Class 3A threads are common in aerospace, defense, and high-precision mechanical assemblies where close fits and minimal play are critical. The 361152020 is appropriate for use in machine shops, manufacturing facilities, and inspection departments. It conforms to NIST standards, making it suitable for regulated inspection environments and traceability requirements.
Designed for inspection of 3/4-10 UNC externally threaded components and fasteners manufactured to Class 3A tolerance specifications per unified inch screw thread standards.
Threaded ring gages are used by quality control inspectors and machinists and do not require installation in the traditional sense. Store the gage in its protective case when not in use to prevent damage to the thread form. Before use, clean both the gage and the workpiece thread to remove chips, oil, or debris that could affect the reading. Do not force the gage onto a thread that does not engage freely, as this can damage the gage and produce false results.
