The VERMONT GAGE 361144530 is a single-ring threaded ring gage used to verify that an external thread does not exceed its maximum material condition. The No Go member of a 9/16-18 UNF Class 2A thread pair, this gage is used during inspection to reject parts whose threads are oversized or out of tolerance. Manufactured from tool steel, it delivers the hardness and dimensional stability required for repetitive production gauging. This gage is intended for inspecting external 9/16-18 UNF threads classified to the Class 2A tolerance system, which covers the majority of general-purpose unified fine-pitch threaded fasteners and fittings. It is suited for use on production lines, incoming inspection stations, and job-shop floor inspection of machined components. A No Go ring gage is always used alongside a Go ring gage to complete the full Class 2A thread acceptance check. The gage is supplied as a single ring, sold individually.

Thread ring gages are inspection tools and should be handled by trained metrology or quality personnel. Store the gage in its protective case when not in use to prevent damage to the gauging surface. Periodically verify calibration against a NIST-traceable setting plug to confirm the gage remains within tolerance. Do not force the gage onto a thread; resistance during engagement on the No Go member indicates the part is within acceptable limits.
