The VERMONT GAGE 141120100 is a Class X Plus precision pin gage used to verify hole diameters, check bore sizes, and calibrate measuring equipment to traceable standards. Manufactured from tool steel with a 4 micro finish, this gage measures 0.201 inches in diameter and 2 inches in length. It holds a tolerance of +0.00004 inches, placing it in the Class X Plus accuracy tier — one of the tightest tolerances available for go/no-go and direct measurement work. Each unit ships with a Certificate of Accuracy that carries NIST traceability, making it suitable for use in calibration programs and quality systems that require documented measurement traceability.
Class X Plus pin gages are used in precision machining, tool and die, metrology labs, and quality control inspection on the shop floor. This gage is appropriate for both calibrating measuring equipment and directly gaging machined parts where tight tolerances must be confirmed. Its 2-inch length provides adequate handling clearance in most inspection fixtures and bench-top setups. Typical users include machinists, quality technicians, and calibration specialists working in aerospace, automotive, and general manufacturing environments.
Designed for use in standard pin gage sets and holders accepting 0.201-inch diameter gage pins. Compatible with inspection applications requiring Class X Plus accuracy in precision machining and metrology environments.
Pin gages should be handled with clean, lint-free gloves or wiped with a clean cloth to prevent corrosion from skin oils. Store the gage in its protective sleeve or case when not in use to preserve the surface finish and dimensional integrity. Calibration intervals should follow your facility quality program and applicable standards. Do not force the gage into a hole; light hand pressure is the correct technique to avoid damage to the gage or the workpiece.
