The VERMONT GAGE 112321510 is a Class ZZ Plus plug gage designed for precision hole diameter inspection in manufacturing and metrology applications. It measures a nominal diameter of 21.51 mm with a tolerance of 0.00508 mm (0.005 mm), making it suitable for Go inspection tasks where tight dimensional verification is required. Manufactured from tool steel with a 10 micro finish coating, this plug gage is a fixed-limit hand tool used by machinists, quality technicians, and metrologists to verify that a bored or reamed hole meets the lower acceptable limit of a given tolerance band. Each unit ships with a Certificate of Accuracy traceable to NIST.
This plug gage is used in production inspection, incoming inspection, and calibration lab environments wherever hole diameter conformance must be verified against ASME B89.1 standards. Typical applications include Go inspection of machined bores, setting and verifying micrometers, verniers, and other measuring devices. It is appropriate for use in both shop floor and controlled metrology environments. The compact overall length of 2.0000 inches makes it easy to handle and store in standard gage storage systems.
Designed for Go inspection of holes with a nominal diameter of 21.51 mm. Also suitable for setting and verifying micrometers, verniers, and other precision measuring devices in applications governed by ASME B89.1.
Plug gages are handled and used by quality technicians and machinists — no power tools or cutting operations are involved. Store the gage in a protective case away from temperature extremes and contaminants that could affect dimensional accuracy. Clean the gage and the workpiece bore before use to prevent false readings or premature wear. Calibration intervals should be established per your facility quality system and the Certificate of Accuracy documentation supplied with the gage.
