The VERMONT GAGE 112320310 is a Class ZZ Plus plug gage used to verify that a bored or reamed hole meets minimum dimensional requirements during go inspection. It measures 20.31 mm in diameter with a tolerance of 0.00508 mm, making it suitable for precision quality-control work on the shop floor or in an inspection lab. Manufactured from tool steel and finished to a 10 micro surface finish, this gage is built to resist wear under repeated use. Each unit ships with a Certificate of Accuracy traceable to NIST. Machinists, quality technicians, and tool-room inspectors use this type of gage as a daily-use attribute-inspection tool.
This plug gage is designed for go inspection of holes at the 20.31 mm nominal diameter. It is also compatible with setting micrometers, verniers, and other measuring devices requiring a traceable reference standard. Typical applications include in-process inspection on machining lines, receiving inspection of precision components, and calibration verification of hand-measuring tools. The gage conforms to ASME B89.1 standards, making it appropriate for both production and metrology environments in aerospace, automotive, medical device, and general manufacturing settings.
Designed for go inspection of 20.31 mm diameter holes and for use as a reference standard with micrometers, verniers, and other measuring devices requiring a traceable setting master.
Plug gages are handled and used by quality technicians and machinists; no power source or mechanical installation is required. Store the gage in its protective case when not in use to prevent corrosion and surface damage. Clean the gage and the workpiece bore before use to avoid false readings caused by debris or coolant residue. Do not force the gage into an undersized bore, as this will damage the gage surface and compromise its tolerance class.
