The VERMONT GAGE 112310950 is a Class ZZ Plus plug gage machined from tool steel for dimensional go inspection of bored holes, machined bores, and precision-fit openings. It checks whether a hole has been machined within acceptable tolerance limits. The gage measures 10.95 mm in diameter with a tolerance of 0.00508 mm, and its working surface carries a 10 microfinish rating for consistent, repeatable contact. Overall length is 2.0000 inches. Each unit ships with a Certificate of Accuracy backed by NIST traceability, which satisfies most shop-floor and quality-lab documentation requirements. Machinists, quality technicians, and tool-and-die professionals install this gage in go/no-go inspection routines.
This plug gage is suited to incoming inspection, in-process verification, and final inspection stations in job shops, production machining environments, and calibration labs. It is also appropriate for setting and verifying micrometers, verniers, and other measuring devices that require a certified reference. The Class ZZ Plus tolerance class makes it appropriate for general-purpose inspection where tighter Class Z or ZZ fits are required beyond standard commercial tolerances. Suitable for both bench and floor use wherever a traceable dimensional reference is needed.
Designed for go inspection applications and for setting micrometers, verniers, and other measuring devices requiring a certified plug reference at 10.95 mm nominal diameter.
Plug gages of this type are handled and used by quality technicians and machinists following shop metrology procedures. Clean the gage and the bore being checked before each use to avoid false readings from chips or coolant residue. Store in a protective case away from temperature extremes to maintain dimensional stability. No power source is required, but always follow your facility calibration-recall schedule to maintain traceability.
