The VERMONT GAGE 112309150 is a Class ZZ Plus plug gage used to verify bore diameters and hole tolerances in precision machining and inspection environments. Designed for go inspection applications, this gage checks that a drilled, reamed, or bored hole falls within the acceptable size range. The 9.15 mm diameter measuring surface is ground and finished to a 10 microfinish, and the gage is held to a 0.005 mm tolerance in accordance with ASME B89.1. Each unit ships with a Certificate of Accuracy traceable to NIST. Machinists, quality control inspectors, and toolroom technicians rely on plug gages like this one for fast, reliable attribute inspection on the shop floor or inspection bench.
This plug gage is suited for production inspection of 9.15 mm diameter holes in metalworking, manufacturing, and precision fabrication settings. It is compatible with go inspection routines and can also be used to set and verify micrometers, verniers, and other dimensional measuring devices. The 2.0-inch overall length fits standard gage handle systems used in most toolroom and floor inspection setups. The tool steel construction holds up under repeated use in moderate-volume inspection cycles.
Designed for go inspection of 9.15 mm diameter bores and for use with micrometers, verniers, and other dimensional measuring devices. Fits standard plug gage handle systems.
Plug gages are handled and used by quality control inspectors and machinist personnel - no installation in the traditional sense applies. Store the gage in its protective case when not in use to prevent nicking the measuring surface. Clean the gage surface and the bore being checked before use to avoid false readings from chips or coolant residue. Do not force the gage into an undersized hole, as this will damage the ground surface and invalidate calibration.
