The VERMONT GAGE 112306330 is a Class ZZ Plus cylindrical plug gage manufactured from tool steel, designed for go inspection of bored, drilled, or reamed holes. It checks whether a hole falls within the acceptable minimum size limit, confirming the workpiece will accept a mating part. The gage measures 6.33 mm in diameter and holds a tolerance of 0.00508 mm, making it suitable for precision quality-control work in machine shops, tool rooms, and manufacturing environments. The 10 microfinish surface finish minimizes wear on the gage and the part being inspected. Each unit ships with a Certificate of Accuracy carrying NIST traceability.
This plug gage is used in go inspection applications where conformance to tight dimensional limits must be verified quickly and reliably. It is also suited for setting and calibrating micrometers, verniers, and other measuring devices requiring a traceable reference standard. The overall length of 2.0 inches keeps the gage compact and easy to handle at the bench or on the floor. Typical users include quality-control inspectors, machinist toolroom personnel, and calibration technicians working to ASME B89.1 standards.
Designed for go inspection of holes and bores at 6.33 mm nominal diameter, and for use as a setting reference with micrometers, verniers, and other measuring instruments requiring a traceable plug-gage standard.
Plug gages are handled and applied by quality-control inspectors and toolroom technicians - no power tools or machine lockout is required for normal use. Store the gage in its protective case when not in use, and avoid contact with abrasive surfaces to preserve the 10 microfinish. Clean the gage and the workpiece bore before inspection to remove chips, coolant, or debris that could give a false reading or damage the gage surface. Calibration intervals should follow the facility quality plan and applicable metrology standards.
