The VERMONT GAGE 112300750 is a Class ZZ Plus plug gage designed for precision dimensional inspection of small bores and holes with a nominal diameter of 0.75 mm. Manufactured from tool steel with a 10 microfinish surface coating, this gage delivers a tolerance of 0.005 mm (0.00508 mm actual), making it appropriate for go inspection work where tight dimensional control is required. Each unit ships with a Certificate of Accuracy traceable to NIST, supporting quality management documentation needs. It is installed and used by machinists, quality technicians, and metrologists performing in-process or final inspection checks.
This plug gage is intended for go inspection applications and is also suited for setting and calibrating micrometers, verniers, and other measuring devices that require a traceable reference standard. The 0.75 mm diameter makes it applicable for inspecting very fine bores typical in precision machined components, medical device parts, and small-diameter threaded or drilled features. Its compact overall length of 2.0000 decimal inches (approximately 50.8 mm) allows use in standard gage handles and holders common to bench inspection setups.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use go plug gage for precision inspection of 0.75 mm diameter bores, and suitable for setting micrometers, verniers, and other measuring devices requiring a traceable reference at this diameter.
Plug gages are handled and used by quality technicians and metrologists in inspection environments. Handle the gage with clean cotton or nitrile gloves to prevent corrosion from skin oils, and store it in its protective case when not in use. Do not force the gage into a bore; go gages should enter under their own weight or with minimal hand pressure. Follow ASME B89.1 guidelines for gage use, handling, and recalibration intervals.
