The VERMONT GAGE 112210260 is a Class ZZ Minus plug pin gage designed for precision dimensional inspection in machine shops, quality labs, and manufacturing environments. This pin gage measures 10.26 mm in diameter and holds a tolerance of 0.00508 mm, making it suitable for NoGo inspection applications where tight dimensional control is required. The steel construction and 10 microfinish surface coating ensure consistent, repeatable measurements across repeated use. Each gage ships with a Certificate of Accuracy that includes NIST traceability, supporting documentation requirements in calibrated inspection programs. Machinists, quality technicians, and metrologists are the primary users.
This plug pin gage is used in NoGo inspection routines to verify that a bore or hole does not exceed its maximum allowable size. It is also suited for setting and checking micrometers, verniers, and other measuring devices requiring a certified reference standard. The 2-inch overall length provides adequate reach for typical bore inspection tasks in both production floor and inspection room settings. It is appropriate for residential tooling shops as well as commercial and industrial quality assurance workflows.
Designed as an OEM-style precision reference standard for use in NoGo inspection routines and for setting micrometers, verniers, and other measuring devices requiring a certified plug gage reference.
Pin gages should be handled with clean, dry hands or cotton gloves to prevent contamination of the precision surface. Before use, verify the gage is at ambient temperature to avoid thermal expansion errors. Store the gage in its protective case when not in use to preserve the surface finish and dimensional integrity. Inspection and recalibration intervals should follow your facility quality management program and applicable ISO or ANSI standards.
