The VERMONT GAGE 112125000 is a Class ZZ Plus plug gage machined from tool steel for dimensional go inspection of 25 mm diameter bores and holes. It carries a tolerance of 0.005 mm and a 10 microfinish surface, giving it the precision required for verifying hole acceptance in production and quality-control environments. Each unit ships with a Certificate of Accuracy traceable to NIST, confirming it meets ASME B89.1 standards. Machinists, quality technicians, and metrology professionals use this gage to qualify bores before assembly or to calibrate and verify setting of micrometers, verniers, and other measuring devices.
This plug gage is suited for both shop-floor inspection and metrology lab use. Its primary application is go-type bore inspection on machined components requiring a 25 mm nominal diameter check. It is also used to set and verify the accuracy of micrometers, verniers, bore gages, and similar measuring instruments. The overall length of 2.0 inches makes it compatible with standard gage handle systems commonly used in light manufacturing, precision machining, and quality assurance workflows.
Designed as an OEM-style go plug gage for use with standard gage handle systems and applicable to any inspection process requiring a 25 mm diameter bore check per ASME B89.1 protocols.
Plug gages are handled and used by quality technicians and machinists; no power source or mechanical installation is required. Store the gage in its protective case when not in use to prevent damage to the precision ground surface and maintain dimensional integrity. Clean the gage and bore with a lint-free cloth before use to prevent debris from affecting measurement results. Do not force the gage into a bore — if resistance is felt, the bore is undersized and should be returned for rework.
