The VERMONT GAGE 112111340 is a Class ZZ Plus plug gage manufactured from tool steel for dimensional inspection of bored and reamed holes. The gage measures 11.34 mm in diameter with a tolerance of 0.00508 mm, making it suitable for high-repeatability go inspection work in tool rooms, machine shops, and quality-control environments. The 10 microfinish surface finish reduces wear on the gage member and the workpiece bore during repeated insertion. At 2.0000 inches overall length, the handle is sized for standard single-end plug gage handles used by machinists, metrologists, and QC inspectors. Each unit ships with a Certificate of Accuracy traceable to NIST standards, meeting the documentation requirements common in ISO-registered facilities.
This plug gage is used to verify that a machined bore falls within its acceptable lower-limit dimension during go inspection. It is appropriate for use in production-line inspection, incoming inspection, and tool calibration setups involving set micrometers, verniers, and other comparative measuring devices. Store the gage in its protective case when not in use to prevent corrosion and surface damage.
