The VERMONT GAGE 112110800 is a Class ZZ Plus plug gage machined from tool steel for dimensional inspection of bored holes and machined features at 10.8 mm diameter. It holds a tolerance of 0.00508 mm and delivers a 10 microfinish surface on the gaging cylinder, giving inspectors a reliable, repeatable reference for go-type inspection work. Each unit ships with a Certificate of Accuracy traceable to NIST, meeting ASME B89.1 standards. Machinists, quality technicians, and tool room personnel use this gage to verify hole size conformance on production and inspection benches.
This plug gage is suited for go inspection applications in manufacturing, tool rooms, and metrology labs. It is also compatible with setting and calibrating micrometers, verniers, and other measuring devices that require a traceable dimensional reference. The 10.8 mm diameter targets metric-dimensioned bores common in precision machined components. At 2.0 inches overall length, the gage fits standard handle configurations used in typical bench inspection setups.
Suitable for go inspection of 10.8 mm diameter bores. Also used to set micrometers, verniers, and other measuring devices requiring a traceable dimensional reference per ASME B89.1.
Plug gages are handled and used by quality technicians and machinists; no permanent installation is required. Store the gage in its protective case when not in use to prevent surface damage to the gaging cylinder. Clean the gage and the bore being checked before use to avoid false readings from chips or debris. Do not force the gage into an undersized bore, as this can damage the lapped surface and alter the gage diameter.
