The VERMONT GAGE 112110520 is a Class ZZ Plus plug gage designed for precision dimensional inspection of bored holes and machined features. The gage checks a 10.52 mm nominal diameter with a tolerance of 0.00508 mm, making it suitable for Go inspection applications where close-tolerance verification is required. Manufactured from tool steel with a 10 microfinish surface coating, it delivers consistent, repeatable measurements. A Certificate of Accuracy with NIST traceability is included, supporting quality-system documentation requirements. Machinists, quality technicians, and tool-room inspectors use this gage as part of standard incoming and in-process inspection routines.
This plug gage is used in manufacturing, machine shops, and quality control environments where bore diameters must be verified to tight tolerances. It is suited for Go inspection use and is compatible with standard gage-handle systems. The 2.0 inch overall length makes it practical for benchtop and floor-level CMM support setups. Typical applications include verifying drilled, reamed, or bored holes in metal components, as well as calibrating and cross-checking micrometers, verniers, and other measuring devices to a known reference standard.
Designed for Go inspection of 10.52 mm diameter bores; compatible with standard plug-gage handle systems used in general precision measurement and quality control applications.
Plug gages are handled and used by quality technicians and machinists following standard metrology practices. Before use, clean the gage and the bore being inspected to remove chips, coolant, and debris that could affect measurement accuracy. Store the gage in its protective case when not in use to prevent damage to the finished surfaces. Refer to ASME B89.1 and applicable shop quality procedures for calibration intervals and handling requirements.
