The VERMONT GAGE 111334750 is a Class ZZ Plus cylindrical plug gage designed to measure bore and hole diameters with a nominal size of 0.3475 inches. Built from tool steel and finished to a 10 microfinish surface, it holds a tolerance of 0.0002 inches, delivering the dimensional accuracy required for quality control and inspection work. At 2.0 inches overall length, this gage handles close-tolerance go inspection tasks in production, toolroom, and quality lab environments. Each unit ships with a Certificate of Accuracy that includes NIST traceability, meeting the documentation requirements of calibrated inspection tooling. Machinists, quality technicians, and metrology professionals install and use this gage in standard inspection workflows.
This plug gage is suited for go inspection of machined holes, bores, and similar features where dimensional conformance must be verified. It is also used to calibrate and set micrometers, verniers, and other precision measuring devices. Typical applications include incoming inspection, in-process quality checks, and final inspection on parts requiring tight bore tolerances. The Class ZZ Plus designation indicates a higher accuracy grade within the ZZ class, making it appropriate for demanding inspection environments where standard Class ZZ tolerances are insufficient.
Designed for go inspection of machined bores and holes at 0.3475 inch nominal diameter, and for use as a setting standard for micrometers, verniers, and other precision measuring devices.
Plug gages are handled and used by quality technicians and machinists in inspection environments. Clean the gage and the part being inspected before use to prevent measurement error from chips, oil, or debris. Store the gage in its protective case when not in use to prevent surface damage that could affect accuracy. Recalibrate on a schedule consistent with your facility quality system and ASME B89.1 guidance.
