The VERMONT GAGE 111333150 is a Class ZZ Plus plug gage designed for precise go-inspection of bored holes, machined bores, and other cylindrical features requiring dimensional verification. It measures a nominal diameter of 0.3315 inches with a tolerance of 0.0002 inches, making it suitable for applications where tight dimensional control is required. The gage is manufactured from tool steel and features a 10 microfinish surface on the measuring element. Each unit ships with a Certificate of Accuracy traceable to NIST, meeting ASME B89.1 standards. Quality control technicians, machinists, and metrology lab personnel are the primary users of this tool.
This plug gage is used in dimensional inspection environments including production floors, incoming inspection stations, and quality labs. It is appropriate for go-inspection of workpieces where a 0.3315-inch bore diameter must be verified. It can also be used to calibrate and verify the accuracy of micrometers, verniers, and other measuring devices. Typical settings include precision machining shops, manufacturing facilities, and metrology departments where ASME B89.1 compliance is required.
Designed for use in go-inspection applications for 0.3315-inch diameter bores, and suitable for use with micrometers, verniers, and other measuring devices as a reference standard per ASME B89.1.
This gage is handled and used by quality technicians and metrologists in inspection or lab settings. Before use, clean the gage and the bore being inspected to remove debris, oil, or burrs that could affect measurement accuracy or damage the gage surface. Do not force the gage into an undersized bore, as this can cause wear or permanent damage to the precision-ground measuring element. Store in a protective case away from temperature extremes to maintain dimensional stability.
