The VERMONT GAGE 111325250 is a Class ZZ Plus plug gage machined from tool steel and designed for precise dimensional inspection of bored holes, drilled passages, and other cylindrical features. It measures a nominal diameter of 0.2525 inches with a tolerance of 0.0002 inches and features a 10 microfinish surface on the gage member. The 111325250 ships with a Certificate of Accuracy traceable to NIST, confirming that each unit meets ASME B89.1 dimensional standards. Machinists, quality technicians, and tool-room inspectors use this gage as a Go inspection member to verify that an internal feature falls within its specified tolerance before the part advances to the next operation.
This plug gage is suited for production floor go/no-go inspection routines as well as calibration and verification of micrometers, verniers, and other measuring devices. Its compact overall length of 2.0 inches makes it easy to handle at the bench or CMM staging area. The gage is appropriate for use in machine shops, manufacturing cells, and quality labs where tight-tolerance internal diameters must be confirmed quickly and reliably.
Designed as an OEM-style Go inspection plug gage for verifying internal cylindrical features at 0.2525 inches nominal diameter; also used to set and verify micrometers, verniers, and other precision measuring devices per ASME B89.1.
Plug gages should be handled by quality technicians or trained machinists familiar with ASME B89.1 inspection practices. Clean the gage and the workpiece bore before use to prevent debris from affecting the measurement. Store the gage in its protective case when not in use to avoid surface damage that could compromise the 10 microfinish. Never force a plug gage into a bore — if the member does not pass with light hand pressure, the feature is out of tolerance.
