The VERMONT GAGE 111321350 is a Class ZZ Plus plug gage machined from tool steel for dimensional go inspection of bored holes, drilled passages, and machined features. It measures a nominal diameter of 0.2135 inches with a tolerance of 0.0002 inches and features a 10 microfinish surface on the gaging member. Each unit ships with a Certificate of Accuracy traceable to NIST, confirming conformance to ASME B89.1 standards. Machinists, quality technicians, and tool room personnel use this gage to verify that a feature falls within its specified tolerance before a part advances to the next stage of production.
This plug gage is suited for go inspection applications in machine shops, tool rooms, and quality control environments. It is sized for use with set micrometers, verniers, and other precision measuring devices requiring a known reference diameter. The 2.0-inch overall length provides a comfortable grip and adequate handle clearance for most bench and in-process inspection setups. It is appropriate for both production-floor spot checks and formal inspection station use across light manufacturing, aerospace component work, and precision mechanical assembly.
Designed as an OEM-style go inspection plug gage for use with set micrometers, vernier calipers, and other calibrated measuring devices requiring a traceable reference standard at 0.2135 inches diameter.
Plug gages are handled and used by quality technicians and machinists; no power source or shutoff is required prior to use. Store the gage in its protective case or sleeve when not in use to prevent surface damage and corrosion. Do not force the gage into a feature that resists entry, as this can damage both the gage and the workpiece. Verify gage calibration status and NIST traceability documentation are current before using in a formal quality control inspection process.
