The VERMONT GAGE 111315450 is a Class ZZ Plus plug gage used to verify bore and hole dimensions in precision machining and quality-control applications. Measuring 0.1545 inches in diameter with a tolerance of 0.0002 inches, this gage delivers reliable go-inspection performance for tight-tolerance work. The 10 microfinish surface and tool steel construction provide consistent, repeatable contact across high-volume inspection cycles. Machinists, quality technicians, and metrologists use this type of gage to confirm dimensional conformance on drilled, reamed, and bored features. Each unit ships with a Certificate of Accuracy traceable to NIST standards, satisfying documentation requirements for ISO and AS9100 quality systems.
This plug gage is suited for go inspection of holes and bores at 0.1545 inches nominal diameter in manufacturing, tool-and-die, and precision machining environments. It is also used to calibrate and verify the accuracy of set micrometers, verniers, and other measuring devices. The compact 2.0-inch overall length makes it easy to handle and store in a standard gage block set or tool crib. Applications span both production floor inspection and metrology lab use wherever ASME B89.1 compliance is required.
Designed for go inspection of 0.1545-inch diameter holes and bores, and for use as a reference standard with set micrometers, verniers, and other precision measuring devices per ASME B89.1.
Plug gages are handled and applied by quality technicians and machinists; no permanent installation is required. Clean the gage and the bore being inspected before use to prevent debris from affecting measurement accuracy. Store the gage in its protective case away from temperature extremes and corrosive environments to maintain dimensional stability. Do not force the gage into an undersized bore, as this can damage the gage surface and compromise calibration.
