The VERMONT GAGE 111207600 is a Class ZZ Minus plug pin gage ground to a 0.0760-inch diameter for NoGo inspection work. This single-ended pin gage is used to verify that a bored, drilled, or reamed hole does not exceed its maximum allowable size. At 2 inches in overall length, it is sized for easy handling in bench or in-process inspection routines. The steel construction and 10 microfinish surface provide consistent, repeatable contact with the workpiece. Each gage ships with a Certificate of Accuracy traceable to NIST, meeting the documentation requirements of most ISO and AS9100 quality systems.
This gage is suited for dimensional inspection in machine shops, manufacturing facilities, tool rooms, and quality labs. The Class ZZ Minus tolerance designation makes it appropriate for NoGo gauging of holes where go/no-go verification is required. It is also used for setting and verifying micrometers, verniers, and other measuring devices. Machinists, quality technicians, and metrologists working with small-diameter hole inspection will find this gage fits standard pin gage handle sets.
Designed for use as a NoGo plug pin gage for holes near 0.0760 inches in diameter. Also compatible with standard pin gage handle sets used for setting micrometers, verniers, and similar measuring instruments.
Pin gages should be handled with clean, dry hands or cotton inspection gloves to prevent corrosion from skin oils. Store the gage in its protective sleeve or case when not in use. Apply a light coat of instrument oil before long-term storage. Do not force the gage into a hole; any resistance during a NoGo check indicates the hole is within tolerance.
