The VERMONT GAGE 111118600 is a Class ZZ Plus plug gage designed for precision go inspection of bored holes, machined features, and other critical internal dimensions. Manufactured from tool steel with a 10 microfinish surface, this gage measures a nominal diameter of 0.186 inches and holds a tolerance of 0.0002 inches. With an overall length of 2.0 inches, it is sized for benchtop inspection work in machine shops, quality labs, and production floor environments. A Certificate of Accuracy with NIST traceability is included, making it suitable for documented quality systems. Machinists, quality technicians, and tool room inspectors are the primary users.
This plug gage is used wherever a confirmed go-type inspection of a 0.186-inch diameter feature is required. Typical applications include verifying drilled, reamed, or bored holes against drawing tolerances, as well as calibrating or checking setting references for micrometers, verniers, and other measuring devices. It is appropriate for both job shop and production inspection environments where ASME B89.1 compliance is required. The Class ZZ Plus designation indicates it meets the tightest commercial-grade tolerance class for this gage type.
Designed for go inspection of 0.186-inch diameter bored, drilled, or reamed features. Also suitable as a setting reference for micrometers, verniers, and other measuring devices per the manufacturer application data.
Plug gages are handled and used by quality technicians and machinists; no power source is required. Always clean the gage and the feature being inspected before use to prevent contamination from affecting the measurement. Store the gage in its protective case when not in use to prevent surface damage to the ground diameter and microfinish. Follow your facility quality plan and ASME B89.1 guidelines for gage calibration intervals and handling procedures.
