The VERMONT GAGE 111113700 is a Class ZZ Plus precision plug gage designed to verify bore and hole dimensions to tight tolerances in production and inspection environments. Built from tool steel, this go-type gage measures a nominal diameter of 0.137 inches with a tolerance of 0.0002 inches, providing reliable dimensional verification at the gaging station. The 10 microfinish surface on the gage member reduces wear and ensures consistent, repeatable contact. Each unit ships with a Certificate of Accuracy traceable to NIST, supporting traceability requirements in quality management systems. Machinists, quality technicians, and metrology professionals use this gage as part of a standard go/no-go inspection routine.
This plug gage is suited for go inspection of small-diameter bores and holes in precision machined components. It is also used to calibrate and set micrometers, verniers, and other dimensional measuring devices. Typical applications include incoming inspection, in-process quality checks, and final inspection on the shop floor in both job-shop and production environments. The compact 2.0-inch overall length makes it easy to handle in confined inspection setups.
Designed for go inspection of bores and holes at 0.137 inches nominal diameter. Also suitable for setting and verifying micrometers, verniers, and other dimensional measuring devices per ASME B89.1 requirements.
Plug gages of this type are handled and used by quality technicians and machinists; no power source or lockout is required prior to use. Handle the gage member carefully to avoid nicks or contamination that would affect accuracy. Store the gage in its protective case when not in use and clean contact surfaces with a lint-free cloth before each inspection cycle. Periodic recalibration against a NIST-traceable standard is recommended to maintain measurement integrity.
