The VERMONT GAGE 111113300 is a Class ZZ Plus plug gage machined from tool steel for precise dimensional inspection of hole diameters. Designed for go inspection work, this gage measures a nominal diameter of 0.133 inches with a tolerance of 0.0002 inches and a 10 microfinish surface. At 2.0 inches overall length, it is sized for handheld use in production and quality control environments. Each unit ships with a Certificate of Accuracy with NIST Traceability, meeting ASME B89.1 standards. Machinists, quality technicians, and metrologists rely on plug gages like this one for fast, repeatable pass/fail verification of drilled or reamed bores.
This plug gage is suited for go inspection of close-tolerance holes in manufacturing and machine shop settings. It is compatible with use alongside set micrometers, verniers, and other precision measuring devices as a reference or calibration standard. The 0.133 inch diameter makes it appropriate for small-bore verification tasks in both production line and inspection room environments. Residential and light commercial fabrication shops, as well as aerospace and industrial precision shops, commonly use Class ZZ Plus gages for in-process and final inspection.
Designed for use as a go inspection gage and as a reference standard with set micrometers, verniers, and other precision measuring devices where a 0.133 inch diameter reference is required.
Plug gages are handled and deployed by quality technicians and machinists following dimensional inspection procedures. Store the gage in its protective case when not in use to prevent surface damage and corrosion. Clean the gage surface and the bore being checked before use to prevent debris from affecting measurement accuracy. Do not force the gage into an undersized bore, as this can damage the gage surface finish and invalidate calibration.
