The VERMONT GAGE 111112300 is a Class ZZ Plus plug gage machined from tool steel for dimensional go inspection of bored holes, drilled passages, and other precision features. The gage measures a nominal diameter of 0.123 inches and holds a tolerance of 0.0002 inches, making it suitable for verifying hole size conformance in tight-tolerance manufacturing and quality-control applications. A 10 microfinish surface treatment on the measuring members reduces wear and protects accuracy over repeated use. Each unit ships with a Certificate of Accuracy traceable to NIST. Machinists, quality technicians, and tool-room personnel are the primary users of this gage.
This plug gage is used in production inspection, incoming material verification, and calibration-lab workflows wherever small-diameter hole tolerances must be confirmed. It is sized for go inspection of 0.123-inch nominal holes and can also be used as a reference master when setting micrometers, verniers, and other comparative measuring devices. The 2.0-inch overall length fits standard gage-handle assemblies. Suitable for both job-shop and high-volume production environments requiring ASME B89.1 compliance.
Designed for go inspection of 0.123-inch nominal diameter holes and for use as a setting master with micrometers, verniers, and other comparative measuring devices in quality-control and tool-room applications.
Plug gages are handled and used by quality technicians and machinists; no power source or trade license is required for use. Clean the gage and the workpiece bore before each measurement to prevent debris from affecting readings or causing surface damage. Store the gage in its protective case when not in use to preserve the 10 microfinish surface and maintain calibration integrity. Periodic recalibration against NIST-traceable masters is recommended per your quality management system requirements.
