The VERMONT GAGE 111111200 is a Class ZZ Plus cylindrical plug gage used to verify bore and hole diameters to precise dimensional tolerances. It measures a nominal diameter of 0.112 inches with a tolerance of 0.0002 inches, making it suitable for high-accuracy inspection tasks. The gage features a 10 microfinish surface on the gaging element, which reduces wear and ensures consistent, repeatable contact. Machined from tool steel, it is built for the demands of regular shop-floor and inspection-room use. A Certificate of Accuracy with NIST traceability is included, supporting documentation requirements for quality control programs.
This plug gage is applied in go-type inspection workflows to confirm that a hole or bore falls within the specified tolerance band. It is also used as a reference standard for setting and verifying micrometers, vernier calipers, and other measuring devices. Typical users include machinists, quality control inspectors, and toolroom technicians working in precision manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, and general metalworking environments. The compact 2.0-inch overall length makes it easy to handle during bench inspection and in-process checks.
Designed for go inspection of bores and holes at 0.112-inch nominal diameter. Also suitable for setting and verifying micrometers, vernier calipers, and other precision measuring devices where a traceable reference standard is required.
Plug gages are handled and applied by quality control technicians and toolroom machinists. Store the gage in its case or protective sleeve when not in use to prevent surface damage. Clean gaging surfaces with a lint-free cloth before each use to remove oils, chips, or debris that could affect measurement accuracy. Avoid dropping or striking the gage, as impact can alter the gaging diameter and invalidate calibration.
