The VERMONT GAGE 111108700 is a Class ZZ Plus plug gage machined from tool steel for precise go-type inspection of bored holes, drilled passages, and other internal features. The gage measures a nominal diameter of 0.087 inches with a tolerance of 0.0002 inches, giving machinists and quality technicians a reliable reference for verifying that a workpiece opening meets minimum acceptable size. A 10 microfinish surface treatment on the gaging member reduces wear and ensures consistent contact with the workpiece. Each unit ships with a Certificate of Accuracy traceable to NIST, satisfying documentation requirements for ISO and AS9100-registered facilities. Licensed metrology technicians and precision machinists are the primary users.
This plug gage is suited for go inspection tasks in production machining, tool rooms, and quality control departments. Do not force the gage into an undersized hole, as this will damage the lapped surface finish and invalidate the calibration certificate.
